• Feel the mountain-like curves directly under your fingers. They are entirely made by hand. These unglazed decorative objects are composed of two parts, one is left smooth while the other is texturized to offer you tactile sensations between softness and rough effect.

Contemporary and graphic ceramics with an exquisite handcrafted flavor

Thanks to a thoughtful manual work, Aurélie evokes the Pyrenees in porcelain creations shaped and hammered by hand. The porcelain centerpieces in this collection have a precious and chic dimension.

The sculpted shape of the home decor items and crockery of the Pyrenees collection is the result of porcelain work after shaping it. These decorative pieces, whose reliefs are made one by one by hand, then dry slowly in a damp chamber. Once dry, these creations are fired slowly in the kiln of the pottery workshop to reach 1250°C. It takes no less than 2 days of waiting before the oven can be reopened to finally discover the decorative objects created.

Placed in the center of the table, on a coffee table or on a sideboard, the Pyérénées centerpieces decorate softly and lightly. They seem to illuminate and open the space. A porcelain with a modern design, which slips easily into all types of decoration whether it is classic chic, contemporary or bohemian.

In addition to decorative objects, the Pyrenees collection also includes porcelain tableware items with the same design.

Elephantom.Design are also creations made by a biologist. Thinking "environmental awareness" is therefore in the DNA of this project.

Large quantities of water, high temperature cooking, use of metallic oxides, ... the installation of the workshop has been thought in order to limit as much as possible the ecological footprint that these steps would impose.

Thus, in the workshop :

• 🌧 Water for the workshop comes from a large rainwater cistern.
• 🌍 Clay waste" is recycled to create new pieces.
• 💧 A settling tank cleans the dirty water before it goes into the sewer.
• ☔ Containers are placed in the sink to reuse tap water during the day.
• 🍽 The ceramics created are solid and will not chip!
